When I sent a message on the website to request an appointment, I got such a quick response that I initially thought it must be an auto-reply! But it was a personalized message written by him He really knows how to work with young kids. He photographed my family of 4 which included a 2 year old and a 5 month old who were obviously difficult to wrangle. My 2 year old kept wanting to hold her doll and I was trying to take it from her so we could start the shoot, but he said he could work with the doll! And indeed he did! The photos with the doll are extra cute! Sign of a true professional to work with unexpected situations and turn it into something that looked planned! He gave great instructions and we got amazing photos. He brought a bubble wand and picnic blanket, which made for some really fantastic shots! He let us take extra time whenever the kids needed a break, and we got a lot of extra time tacked on to the end that we hadn’t even paid for. Crazy story - he discovered he had a flat tire when we were done and trying to leave the parking lot. It was relatively late in the evening. We had paid for same-day sneak peaks where he sends some edited photos the day of, but when I saw his tire, i told him that he didn’t need to worry about giving them to me that day. He came to the shooting place much earlier to find a perfect location for his equipment, take test shots and prepare the location so that all you had to do is enjoy the process and relax.
